Spring Concert
Like many other choirs and performing arts groups around the country, Cantoris has had to manage the uncertainty, and the stops and starts, due to pandemic restrictions.
We've missed performing for our friends, family and supporters. After what's been the longest rehearsal period the choir has ever had in its history (who can forget the weirdness of Zoom rehearsals which we hope to never repeat again!), the choir is chomping at the bit to perform. After several false starts and thinking perhaps we may have to bring this concert online, Cantoris is very pleased to announce that we'll now be able to perform a live concert on Friday 16 October, 7:30pm at St Peter's on Willis. The programme is a line-up of contemporary choral music from popular composers like Bob Chilcott, Howard Goodall, Eric Whitacre, and Kiwis David N Childs and Ella Hanify. This will be our first, and possibly only concert for 2020, so we would very much love to see you at the performance. It would be so much more fun to sing to a packed venue - so your support will be very much welcomed! The concert will not be ticketed, but a koha will be appreciated at the door. We hope that you will join us for a happy night of song.
